It consist in the “regeneration” or “repair” of the tissues by activating the fibroblasts (connective tissue cell producers of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid) by the effect of the growth factors, which are small fragments of biologically active proteins, belonging to the group of the cytokines.

These factors are found in many tissues and cells. Of all the cells the PLATELETS are the ones from which a large quantity of these factor can be easily obtained.

It is possible to obtain a large quantity of platelets from the blood extracted from the patient to be treated, It is a simple process in which the plasma is separated from the blood cells, of which the platelets are part, by centrifugation of the extracted blood (20 mls), , obtaining the PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP). The growth factors are contained within the platelets.

The red cells are discarded keeping the platelet rich plasma (PRP) To the PRP we add calcium chloride, which stimulates the liberation of growth factors from the platelets. This is introduced, by way of microinjections into the skin or any body area to be treated, mainly the face and neck.
